CALGARY, AB OPERATIONS (HEAD OFFICE)


Located within the Mission District in Calgary, Alberta, our Calgary Operations houses engineering personnel covering all engineering disciplines to perform critical design functions, field related activities, and direct our lifestyle offices. The Calgary office is also responsible for all aspects of project management including schedule/budget compliance, procurement activities, and daily Client interface.
UNITY, SK & KELOWNA, BC OPERATIONS (LIFESTYLE OFFICES)


While others go offshore (often to China or India) for low cost design/drafting services, we at Ridgeline Engineering have committed to keeping all offices on Canadian soil. It is our experience that coordinating projects with offshore locations introduces significant risk with respect to project execution:

1. Cultural Differences
2. Language Barriers
3. Time Zone Differences

These real obstacles often negate the hourly rate savings and result in project cost over-runs, delays, rework and/or technical errors. Therefore, in order to provide cost-effective technical services to our customers we are committed to the development of lifestyle offices within Canada. In 2011 we hired our first employee in Unity, Saskatchewan. The Unity office has since grown to now include an array of experienced designers and drafters. In fact, over half of the Unity office staff are Engineering Technologist graduates from highly recognized Canadian Technical Schools. Plus, the majority of the Unity staff have in excess of 10 years of practical industry experience ranging from drafting to design to construction management.

In 2012, we opened our second lifestyle office in Kelowna, BC. The Kelowna office staffs senior experienced designers and drafters, several of which have 30+ years of experience in the oil/gas industry.

All staff receive fair and competitive compensation for their location. Cost savings associated with the lifestyle offices are fully passed on to our Clients, resulting in industry leading blended rates.

The Unity and Kelowna offices provide a unique opportunity for our staff to live in a location that is desirable to them, while working the field of industrial engineering and design.
